Following two narrow defeats Aberaeron were keen to get back to winning ways. They were buoyed by the return of top scorer Matty Davies and inspirational centre -back Elwyn Edwards which augered well for three points.
On a near perfect pitch and on a sunny April afternoon, Aberaeron were in good spirits and looked forward to locking horns with high flying Llanfair.
